Upcoming Workshops
Discover the art of sculpting with Monster Clay, a professional-grade, reusable sculpting clay loved by artists, character designers, and special effects creators. In this hands-on beginner workshop, you'll learn how to use sculpting tools, build forms, create texture, and shape clay into faces, animals, or simple sculptures while developing your observation and artistic skills.
Students will explore fundamental sculpting techniques including forming basic shapes, creating proportions, adding details, smoothing surfaces, and understanding how to bring personality and movement into their work. No previous experience is necessary—this class is designed to be fun, approachable, and inspiring for beginners and creative hobbyists alike.
Throughout the workshop, you'll receive guided instruction while having the freedom to experiment and develop your own unique style. We believe sculpting is both relaxing and therapeutic, offering a wonderful opportunity to slow down, focus, and create with your hands.
At the end of class, you'll take home your completed sculpture to display, continue refining, or reimagine into something entirely new. Because Monster Clay remains workable and reusable, your project can evolve as your skills grow, making it an excellent medium for ongoing practice and creativity.
Class Includes:
Introduction to Monster Clay and its uses
Hands-on instruction in sculpting techniques
Use of professional sculpting tools during class
Guidance on sculpting faces, animals, and basic forms
Your own sculpted creation to take home
A relaxed, encouraging, and creative learning environment
Perfect for teens, adults, homeschool families, and anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of sculpture while enjoying a creative and therapeutic artistic experience.
We partner with our neighbors’ llama farm to source soft, sustainable Llama wool—carefully collected, hand-cleaned, and carded by our team. We dye each batch in small lots using colorways inspired by the seasons, then prepare the fibers for needle felting projects that are perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike.
Needle felting is a calming, meditative craft: the rhythmic poke of the needle lets your hands focus while your mind relaxes. To guide your practice, we provide hand-drawn sketches and easy-to-follow templates for animals, botanicals, and abstract shapes, so you can create charming pieces with confidence. Every kit and bundle reflects our commitment to local materials, slow craft, and moments of mindful creativity.

Create a miniature world with a living terrarium that celebrates succulents, sand, pebbles, and other natural materials. Start with a clear glass container, layer coarse sand and gravel for drainage, then add a nutrient-rich cactus mix and sculpt small hills and valleys. Arrange a variety of succulents—rosettes, trailing types, and textured specimens—for contrast, and tuck in decorative stones, driftwood, or tiny shells to echo natural landscapes. Finish with a light dusting of fine sand or crushed shells to define paths and plant groupings. Place your terrarium where it receives bright, indirect light and water sparingly to keep the ecosystem balanced. The result is a low-maintenance, living vignette that brings earthy serenity and sculptural beauty to any room.
